World Cup 2019: Pakistan record 14-run sensational win against England.
NOTTINGHAM: Pakistan have recorded a sensational victory against hosts England in their second match of the ICC World Cup 2019 here at Trent Bridge on Monday.
Nottingham: Joe Root after completing his century, the first in this World Cup was sent back to the hut with 107 by Shadab Khan as Hafeez took the catch breaking the firm partnership between Root and Jos Buttler who led England to 248 in 38 overs to chase Pakistan’s record high 349 target in the sixth ICC World Cup match 2019 at Trent Bridge on Monday.
England now require another 86 runs with five wickets in hand and 54 balls remaining.
Pakistan made two changes and brought in Asif Ali and Shoaib Malik in place of Haris Sohail and Imad Wasim.
On the other side, England have strengthened their bowling line up with Mark Wood, citing Pakistan’s weakness against bouncers.
